Between Lord and ME

Between Lord and me.

For once I may have been driven away from what I think of the matter of God, but that was centuries ago and the air was just clearing for my race to pitch camp. From what I have seen God has always been an experience for an individual and never a community. The first human to have thought of God always thought in his own genuine manner and so God was more important to a person as an individual and not as a mass.

The race grew, flourished, evolved and began the deterioration of God, while humans grew senseless enough to divide the land and make boundaries between people, they were further retarded to divide Gods. This, to please them so that, when they couldn’t fight their Gods would, and so Gods became enemies. Gods were now limited to little areas and lesser people. Mankind has done terribly to something which it created with so much passion and devotion. Who wouldn’t look at this act and not say that man was selfish before mankind had barely begun on Earth.

Refuting Gods, people fighting in the name of the Lord, confusing God with religion and deepening this poison day by day in the minds of everyone. Rough present situation points its way back to the first days of man, when Green and blue and white were the only three colors visible on Earth from space. Thereafter people went fanatic on religion and red color of blood started marking stark religious boundaries on our beautiful blue-green-white ball of life.

God is a personal phenomenon; it is a process of discovering the outside world through deepening knowledge of the self or the individual. When we begin to know ourselves from inside of us, then comes the realization and understanding of everything outside. But this is all futile too because if you look around no two things are separable completely. There are no clear demarcations of anything whatsoever. The whole system is in a constant state of flux, and for me this flux is God. Yes, indeed the ‘constant change’, thought flow and breathing are just a few representations of the intricate magic spread around us.

Only when we train ourselves to look with one eye, the eye which takes in all views simply and without attachments. And contemporary writers and thinkers understand this concept slightly less than the legendary geniuses. Even then, they put it aptly in a TV series titled Mr. Robot, when the protagonist an extraordinary hacker takes on huge corporations with his hallucinatory visions. When Elliott, the male lead goes for a religious therapy session, he walks out abruptly when the moderator gave her a sermon about Jesus, his reply went thus, “Why should I believe in your imaginary friend, when you don’t believe in mine?”

Our Gods are imaginary, what are real is us and the universe. Trust me there are no Gods, no heaven, no hell. It’s just us and this infinite universe. You may choose anyone or anything to call your God. The Vedanta philosophy puts it aptly when they reflect that God is in us or simply we are potential Gods of our own universes.

The Fact of Truth

Truth is something we encounter daily in our lives. Truth which is simple and plain and supposedly realistic. Truth which sometimes is stranger than fiction. Truth which has ben associated with words like faith, fidelity, loyalty, veracity and sincerity. Indian scriptures have long preached us the concept of truth by phrases like ‘Satyameva Jayate’ meaning truth alone triumphs and ‘Satyam Muktaye’ meaning truth liberates. Thus showing us what truth is capable of.
Truth is difficult, almost unbelievable at first and sometimes even shocking. Truth is considered perennial, universal and unchangeable across time, space and frame of referance. Truth is absolute and universally acceptable. Truth is superior even to silence. Most of the times we believe something as the truth but it ain’t and sometimes we are just oblivious to the truth when it stands right in front of us. Some among us choose to ignore the truth and some are simply too busy to pursue it. Some surprisingly believe that search for truth is frivolous and an activity in futile. Such human beings are the most disappointed in life.
Truth alone triumphs, yes that is true indeed and truth always triumphs but to understand truth is always so obscure and hidden that we always miss it. I have yet to discuss about falsehood, the opposite of truth. Lies which are as prevalent in our lives as the truth and for some more than the truth. Truth is simply the reverse of a lie. By default everyone is supposed to be truthfula, because from truth emanates honesty and integrity. A lying person will be corrupt and immoral to say the least.
In the modern time we live in it is of utmost importance that we inculcate truthfulness in our lives because until and unless we are truthful we can never be honest and moral. We must aim to impart these traits in our youngsters. As of now when we look around we see dishonestly, falsehood, corruption and immorality in our vicinity everywhere but iff we start with ourselves we can change those around us. Let us begin the change and make this world a better place. Truth is your realisation which is based on physical and sensual experiences. When we see a truth being verified universally can be termed a fact.

If you are ever in search of truth just let everything change its forms. That which remains in the end is the truth because truth needs no saviour.

I vow to be truthful always and speak the truth everytime. I vow to search for truth and I vow to fight for it always. Do you ?

Look here.

Have you seen the here and now? What miracles it holds ? The sounds , the lights and life it breathes. Have you looked at the marvels and the beauties the world around you has to offer. The emotions which are like dew drops, the sun the moon and the stars, the mud the rain the rivers, everything is a miracle.  Anyone who says otherwise is either blind or a fool.

The Concept of Dharma

In Sanskrit language  “dharma” is a very peculiar word, almost no exact translation for it exists in any other language. It simply means the law of cosmos, it is a phenomenon when processes and things function in accordance with the laws of nature or cosmos. Dharma of a flame is to burn and produce wet, of water to wet other things, of wind to dry, of plant to grow when given the right conditions so on and so forth.
It is also the most confused term too, most people confuse it with religion and nothing could be further from the truth. Those who believe that Dharma has anything to do with religion have misinterpreted everything great this concept had to impart. On top of it layers and layers of myths and mythology have been laid upon and truth which is so simple has been completely shrouded. Honestly our lives would be so simple if we reached down below and dug for the truth ourselves instead of taking the words or reading the text given by someone and accepting it as the truth. In reality truth cannot be told or heard, it needs to be discovered and sometimes it takes a lifetime to find it. For those who really find it with their hard efforts, all other truths reveal themselves automatically and life becomes as simple as the truth.
